ABOUT TRAVIS

Travis learned to be led by God’s Holy Spirit at a young age. Seeing God work through Travis’ life gave him confidence to do and go wherever God has called Him. Because of the trust Travis has in God and not himself, he has humbly served the Lord allowing God to lead each step.

Following God, Travis trained in Lubbock, Texas starting with the Adventures In Missions (AIM) program. That is where he met Teresa, and a year later, he was married on October 12, 1996. A Christian spouse is hard to find, but God led the right partner to Travis to be there and support him as he would serve in ministry full-time.

He would later continue sharpening himself by attending a two year preaching school called Sunset International Bible Institute. After graduating with a 4.0 GPA, Travis got his Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies and his Master’s Degree in Christian counseling which have proven to help him in the many years of ministry. Seminary taught Travis how to dig deep into God’s Word and how to apply everything he had learned to his own life. This preaching school prepared Travis for mission work, leadership, teaching, preaching, as well as having a Christ-centered family.

Travis saw the great need in working with young people and in May 1999 he received the youth ministry position at the Metro Church in Winter Springs, Florida. He was there for 12 years, making a difference in hundreds of teenager’s lives. Because of his leadership, Travis has spoken at youth conferences, men’s retreats, camps, and rallies all over the world.

Since beginning in ministry, he and his wife have had two twin “daddy’s” boys. Now he and his wife are taking seriously the responsibility of raising their boys in Christ.

In March of 2006, Travis was called to write his first book which was released on July 30, 2008. God once again, led Travis to an opportunity which would reach thousands around the world. Since Travis’ first book release, he has been on over 30 radio interviews worldwide on Christian as well as secular stations. Once again, Travis would have never believed that God would expand his ministry in this way, but Travis understands that this is entirely God and that He deserves all the credit and glory.

It is obvious by looking at Travis’s life and family, that he truly knows and loves Jesus Christ.
